Everyone has them. Yes, everyone has skin growths, the only difference is in the type, size, or location. Most people have moles in the first year and throughout their lives, and their number increases. Papillomas, warts, keratomas, and others can also occur, as there are more than 30 types of neoplasms. In order to know what kind of lesion you have on your skin and what to do about it, you need to consult a dermatologist with dermatoscopy. At the CALM clinic, diagnostics are performed by experienced dermatologists and dermato-oncologists using high-quality German Heine devices. Dermatoscopy is a modern hardware method of examining skin lesions that has a high diagnostic value. It allows for a differentiated diagnosis of neoplasms without injuring the skin.

Causes of skin diseases
Skin tumors appear for several reasons: congenital, exposure to ultraviolet radiation, human papillomavirus (HPV), age-related changes, and the effects of skin trauma. To know the diagnosis for sure, undergo a magnification examination of the lesion at CALM.
Skin tumors can be of different appearance, size, color, and localization. We successfully diagnose and treat them: Moles, warts, papillomas, keratomas, atheromas, lipomas, basalomas, hemangiomas and many other skin and mucosal pathologies.
To make an appointment for digital dermatoscopy of a mole, fill out the online form or call. The cost of the service is 800 UAH. Our doctors will perform dermatoscopy painlessly, accurately, and confidentially. During the consultation, the doctor in our dermatology clinic will answer all questions about the skin, give recommendations for care, and issue a conclusion. We recommend undergoing diagnostics once a year, especially after summer. The initial examination by a dermato-oncologist involves examination of the skin and, in particular, dermatoscopy of neoplasms, taking anamnesis, and answering the patient’s questions. Dermatoscopy is a non-invasive diagnostic method that allows you to examine neoplasms under magnification. This allows to study the tumor: its structure, symmetry, color, in order to make the correct diagnosis.
Yes, of course. Local anesthesia is used to remove tumors. It can be injection (injection of anesthetic around the tumor) or application (anesthetic cream is applied to the tumor for 30 minutes under a film). The former is used to remove large skin and subcutaneous tumors (moles, warts, lipomas, etc.), and the latter to remove small ones (papillomas, keratomas, condillomas).
At the CALM clinic, a dermato-oncologist’s fee is 600 UAH, and the head physician’s fee is 800 UAH.
